I just LOVE Customer Pics

I just LOVE when customers send me photos of their little cuties wearing the stuff I create for My Etsy Store, here are a few to share!

This ruffle top and bloomer combination was a custom order from the owner of Sugar & Spice for her cutie pie!!! I just love those precious curls!!! Groovin' Guitar Pilowcase Dress for one of my very loyal, local customers!Toddler sized water Lily Crayon Apron, how cute is she??
And the ever popular (and my favorite design) lotus lace ruffle top, above and below!!! I love the way it looks with the leggings. The dog below doesn't look as impressed though...there is always a critique~

THANKS SO MUCH for sharing all your adorable pictures!!

Happy Birthday Mateo!

Out friend's son celebrated his First Birthday today, what makes it even more special is that he is truly a miracle baby! Mateo was born over 3 months premature and weighed in at just 14oz at birth. I wish I had some of the teeny tiny baby photos to share for they are absolutely amazing...his foot was the size of a fingertip. After 5 months in the NICU, he was finally able to come home with an oxygen tank and a laundry list of medications, feeding times and specialist to meet with. To think that something so teeny would be chewing on lumpia and eating birthday cake today was truly a blessing.

Happy Birthday (not so little anymore) Guy!

Sneak Peak

I have to apologize for the terrible picture! My camera was in the shop for 2 and a half weeks and then they realized they have to send it to the manufacturer for repair...ugghhhh......I am going through serious camera withdrawal, is there a support group for this?

Okay, back to the subject. In the fuzzy camera phone pic you can see my new ruffle dress design using fabric from Sandi Henderson's Farmers Market. It is longer than most of our other dresses and has a good amount of "poof" to it. I am going to make one more colorway with the vintage cherry fabric.

Fabric Guilt

Okay, my upstairs is like a fabric shop especially since my new shipments arrived from Alexander Henry and my much anticipated Farmers Market bolts!!! But today I came across this FUNKY and FABULOUS Japanese import fabric being sold at Fabric Worm's store and I couldn't resist (even with the hefty Japanese import price)!!!

I have decided to start making more of my boys clothes and this has got to make something wonderful!!!!!

From My Window

A lot of you have asked, how I do raise 3 boys, run a boutique and sew everything for my Etsy store? Truth be told lately I feel like I am doing a lot more sewing for orders then "mommying" which is not quite what I had in mind. This is the view from my sewing table so far this summer :

As adorable as it is, I want to be part of the fun........not just an observer. Sewing keeps me sane but sometimes it does the opposite. Before the summer slips by, I have decided to wind down my Etsy shop until August. I am not going to be listing (or relisting) any new items until then and you will notice my blog posts are less frequent.

I am getting most of my bolts from Sandi Henderson's new fabric line, Farmers Market, this week so I am going to be creating a new line and will offer some sneak peaks here and there on my blog. We are going to also take some time to drive up to Northern California to visit my parents and attend the San Francisco Fabric Show (you can't expect me to go cold turkey) and then when I am back, refreshed and "re-bonded" with my kiddos, I will start releasing the new line!
